So "Signature of Denver" in Littleton , CO lists this car on ebay, which "sold" yesterday for $44,501.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Now they are listing the exact same car in an ongoing auction with a bid of over $53,000 that has not yet met the reserve. Something seems fishy.

You may also find it interesting that vehicle auctions on E-Bay are not considered legally binding.

That's what I initially thought, but many of the bids in the "current" auction were placed while the closed auction was still open.

That doesn't sound right. Is there something buried in the Ts & Cs saying that?

Identical car? Same pics.

I can't find many good reasons for it.

Or an accidental repost?

"A non-binding bid is a bid that shows a buyer's interest in purchasing an item, but it doesn't create a formal contract between the buyer and the seller.

All bids made in the Real Estate and eBay Motors vehicles categories are considered non-binding.

Remember, bids placed in any other category are a legal commitment to purchase the item. We strongly encourage you to read the other terms for more information ."

Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, you may be subject to a range of actions, including listing removal, limits on your buying and selling privileges, and suspension of your account.
